Khaled Fathi said in televised statements to the Zamalek channel: “Saif Al-Daraa received a distinguished offer from the rest of his colleagues in the Heliopolis team, and Al-Ahly was a fierce competitor for the deal from the beginning, but the player’s desire decided his destination.”
Fathi revealed that the player signed for one season only, explaining that the shield dreams of going through the European professional experience, and Zamalek considers Zamalek a station to achieve this dream.
And the director of handball contracts in Zamalek club continued: “Saif Al-Daraa is a distinguished player who can play in more than one position, and represents a strong addition to the Zamalek club, and the deal was not only a public one, but it was a strong demand from the technical staff of the white team.”
Fathi explained that the Zamalek handball team received its late dues, and most of them renewed its contract, explaining that Hitler and Ahmed Al-Ahmar are close to renewing the team, and they do not have any crisis in the idea of renewal.
Fathi stressed that the end of the financial crisis in Zamalek club gave the players great psychological comfort, and resolved a large number of deals, whether new players or players who renewed their contracts for the White Castle.
