Pro-life organizations criticized the theme of this yr’s Women’s March.

Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life, an annual rally through which demonstrators demand extra restrictive abortion legal guidelines, stated the theme for this yr’s rally “comes as no surprise.”

“What about equal rights for unborn women?” she tweeted. Authentic ladies’s rights must not ever trample on one other’s primary proper to life — together with that half of humanity that are feminine lives!”

She added that “in inserting abortion above all else, these abortion activists rapidly lose ladies like me – and the tens of millions of child ladies whose lives have been misplaced to abortion since 1973,” referencing the Supreme Court’s 1973 ruling in favor of abortion rights in Roe v. Wade.

The Susan B. Anthony List, another pro-life group, also took aim at the march in a Friday tweet.

“The Women’s March org is holding a rally for ‘abortion justice’ tomorrow. It could be higher named a rally for abortion extremism. The insurance policies they help are far outdoors the mainstream of what most Americans take into consideration this problem,” the organization wrote. “In reality, the Women’s March has a historical past of excluding ladies who communicate out towards the human rights abuse of abortion.”

The Women’s March in 2017 dropped a left-leaning, pro-life organization called the New Wave Feminists from its list of partner organizations because it opposes abortion.

The Susan B. Anthony List continued: “Every lady deserves to be heard on this problem. But the Women’s March tries to erase the tales of mothers who selected life in tough circumstances. Some are asking why the pro-abortion Women’s March is shrinking as the ability, optimism, and youth of the March for Life grows? The reply is obvious: The facet of life is the facet of science and compassion.”

Thousands of individuals are anticipated to indicate as much as the rally in D.C. and elsewhere Saturday with required mask-wearing amid COVID-19.
