White House says it’s in contact over Taiwan

WASHINGTON, Oct 4 (Reuters) – The Biden administration is in non-public communication over Chinese actions with regard to Taiwan, the White House mentioned on Monday, after Taiwan’s protection ministry reported that China’s air drive had despatched plane into its air protection zone.

“We are also in touch privately, conveying clear messages through diplomatic channels, and that’s probably the appropriate place for those,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters.
