Wall St pressured by uptick in yields; Tesla up on document deliveries


Oct 4 (Reuters) – Wall Street’s important indexes opened decrease on Monday as most large know-how shares have been pressured by an uptick in Treasury yields, whereas Tesla shares rose after reporting a document variety of electrical automobile deliveries.

The Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) dropped 73.57 factors, or 0.51%, to 14,493.12 on the opening bell, whereas the Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) fell 13.50 factors, or 0.04%, on the open to 34,312.96.

The S&P 500 (.SPX) opened decrease by 8.20 factors, or 0.19%, at 4,348.84.
