There has been a relentless mockery of Boris Johnson dancing at a party after the video of him surfaced online. COVID lockdowns were starting in the UK at the time the clip was recorded. The Prime Minister and guests held a reception in the garden of No. 10 during which they brought their own alcohol.

The video of the 57-year-old became viral after many jokes were made about him.

Videos of Boris Johnson’s Stunt Go Viral

Twitter user Henry Dyer showed off a duplicate of Johnson’s face earlier this month. Boris Johnson with the lightsaber dancing at City Hall, following Michael Gove’s dance at City Hall.” The caption for the photo read: “After watching Michael Gove dancing, here’s Boris Johnson with the lightsaber dancing at City Hall.”

Johnson’s involvement has not been officially confirmed, but Henry is convinced that Johnson is involved.
In the video, a woman is seen dancing to the music while holding a lightsaber next to the stuntman, who is dancing to Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long.”

You’ve seen Michael Gove dancing – here’s Boris Johnson dancing at a City Hall christmas party with who I think is the then chair of the London Assembly, who is wielding a lightsaber pic.twitter.com/QVcujm2gDE

A Twitter user, Henry Dyer, uploaded the video on January 13 and so far it has received 592,5k views. Other videos on the same topic have also received more than 1.5 million views.

Michael Gove appears to be wielding a lightsaber when Boris Johnson dances at the City Hall Christmas party while holding what appears to be the then chair of the London Assembly. Dyer tweeted that you’ve seen Michael Gove dancing.

It’s interesting to note that Dyer continued to tweet in June 2013 that the “lightsaber” had been a gift from ILM/Lucasfilm.

Tweets About Johnson’s Dance Moves

One Twitter user suggested that Boris Johnson’s dancing alone should be enough to prompt a vote of no confidence in him. “Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the Prime Minister,” another user said.

Another person asked how he could erase someone else’s tweet. Another person claimed it had the same rhythm as a tectonic plate.

Boris Johnson Responds To A Viral Video

While under lockdown, Johnson was attending a party and was criticized by citizens. Therefore, he apologized to them in the House of Commons. “I know that millions of people across this country have made extraordinary sacrifices over the last 18 months.”

A substantial backlash resulted from his claim that the party was a “work event”.
