Singapore provides Australia, Switzerland to quarantine-free journey programme

SINGAPORE, Oct 26 (Reuters) – Singapore will permit quarantine-free entry to travellers vaccinated towards COVID-19 from Australia and Switzerland from Nov. 8, the city-state’s aviation regulator mentioned on Tuesday.

Singapore is slowly re-opening its borders and has expanded quarantine-free journey to almost a dozen nations, together with Germany, Canada, France, Britain and the United States, beneath its Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) programme.

Visitors can journey to Singapore beneath the programme if they’ve been totally vaccinated and examined destructive in COVID-19 checks.

Singapore has been reporting greater than 3,000 day by day infections in latest weeks, though most are asymptomatic or delicate. Over 80% of Singapore’s 5.45 million inhabitants has been vaccinated.
