Sherwin-Williams has named its “Color of the Year” for 2022, and this time it’s Evergreen Fog – a tranquil gray-green hue that takes inspiration from nature.
The paint colour was chosen by the corporate’s world colour and design workforce, which reportedly analyzed an assortment of trending colours. According to a press release from Sherwin-Williams, Evergreen Fog was the main colour in its annual Colormix Forecast.

“Evergreen Fog is a sophisticated wash of color for spaces that crave a subtle yet stunning statement shade,” stated Sherwin-Williams’ Director of Color Marketing Sue Wadden, in an announcement. “Evergreen Fog inspires us to begin again and is a great choice for modern interiors and exteriors.”
She went on to say that Evergreen Fog might be a match for areas that want a “regenerative touch,” together with houses, resort rooms, eating places and workplace house.

The hybrid colour allegedly pairs effectively with pure textures and textiles, deep black shades and metals like champagne gold or heat brass, in accordance with the greater than century–outdated paint firm.
