Russia check fires submarine-launched hypersonic Tsirkon missile for first time


MOSCOW, Oct 4 (Reuters) – Russia stated on Monday it had efficiently check launched a Tsirkon (Zircon) hypersonic cruise missile from a submarine for the primary time, a weapon President Vladimir Putin has lauded as a part of a brand new technology of unrivalled arms techniques.

The defence ministry stated that the Severodvinsk submarine had fired the missile within the Barents Sea, efficiently hitting its chosen goal.
