Ralph Lauren’s prestigious sporting partnerships already embody the Olympics, Wimbledon and the US Open, so it’s solely becoming that the most recent collab on the all-American designer’s roster is America’s pastime itself.
Following an inaugural assortment this spring, Ralph Lauren and Major League Baseball are batting 1,000 for fall, with a brand new limited-edition capsule that includes three of the game’s most-venerated groups — the Yankees, Dodgers and Red Sox.
The collaboration was born from Mr. Lauren’s lifelong love of the sport (he’s even taken to the mound to throw a ceremonial first pitch for the Yankees), and combines his signature type with the iconography of a few of MLB’s favourite franchises.
Fans can get their mitts on unique gadgets from caps ($89.50) to wool-and-leather baseball jackets ($898), all that includes a fashion-forward black-on-black tackle the groups’ logos.
The assortment drops Oct. 7 on The Polo App and choose specialty shops — each merchandise is restricted version, so be sure to attain your favorites quick, or danger hanging out.
