PHILADELPHIA (AP) — An individual was shot inside a hospital in Philadelphia early Monday morning, the suspect fled the scene, after which two officers and the suspect had been wounded in a shootout, police advised information retailers.

The preliminary capturing occurred inside Thomas Jefferson University Hospital simply after midnight, native tv stations reported. The suspect then left the scene, prompting a manhunt by legislation enforcement.

Authorities positioned the suspect a short while later and a shootout erupted. Police advised the information retailers that two officers had been shot and the suspect was wounded. The suspect was then taken into custody. The officers’ accidents weren’t thought of life-threatening.
