MOVES Citi appoints Pang to move clear power banking in Asia


HONG KONG, Oct 5 (Reuters) – Citigroup (C.N) has appointed William Pang as the top of its Natural Resources and Clean Energy Transition (NRCET) Investment Banking unit in Asia, in accordance with a press release from the financial institution.

Pang joined Citi in 2015 and can proceed to guide infrastructure funding banking in Asia, the assertion stated.

NRCET was established globally in March this yr to work with the financial institution’s shoppers on transitioning to cleaner power.

Three of Citi’s banking teams – chemical compounds, power and energy – have been consolidated into one as a part of a push to develop the financial institution’s environmental sustainability protection.

Pang will report back to Jan Metzger, Citi Asia Pacific head of Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory, and globally to NRCET co-heads Stephen Trauber and Sandip Sen.
