A 37-year-old man was shot whereas sitting inside a automotive on an Upper West Side road Monday night time, police stated.

The sufferer was parked close to the intersection of West 72nd Street and Columbus Avenue when a darkish sedan pulled up alongside him and one of many occupants started opening hearth at about 10 p.m., cops stated.

The man was struck within the hip and later walked into Weill Cornell Medical Center on the Upper East Side, police stated.

He suffered non-life threatening accidents, cops stated.

The shooter fled the scene within the automobile in an unknown course. No arrests have been made by early Tuesday.
