President Joe Biden desperately wants a win. He has spent hours making an attempt to jawbone Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., into supporting his $3.5 trillion “social infrastructure” invoice. Why hasn’t he hauled progressive lawmakers into the Oval Office as nicely?

Why not sit down with Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., the top of the uber-liberal caucus that has stymied progress on his bipartisan infrastructure invoice? Why no late-night calls to Bernie Sanders, the Vermont socialist who’s clearly the shadow president and who has resisted calls to trim Biden’s monster spending package deal?

We know why: there’s no level. The progressive wing of his celebration is resistant to persuasion; they’re ideologues who, via a weird accident, out of the blue maintain the reins of energy in our nation’s capital.

LIZ PEEK: BIDEN LYING ABOUT TAXES, INFLATION, DEMS’ MASSIVE SPENDING BUT VOTERS CATCHING ON

There’s a motive that longtime retired Democrat Congressman Barney Frank usually pilloried Sanders for his unwillingness to compromise, saying: “Bernie Sanders has been in Congress for 25 years with little to show for it in terms of his accomplishments…”

How did this centrist nation fall below the spell of an ultra-Left group that admires Communist regimes like Cuba, loathes Israel – the one democracy within the Middle East and one that doesn’t pay terrorists to kill their enemies – and desires to convey Europe’s cradle-to-grave welfare system to a rustic that has   outperformed these sclerotic nations and affords unparalleled alternatives to all who’re keen to work onerous?
