A California homicide suspect was fatally shot by police after his getaway car broke down on a freeway Tuesday morning, a report mentioned.

California Highway Patrol officers have been responding to a disabled car on the 105 Freeway in Paramount once they encountered Jesse Medrano, 35, who was wished for a deadly taking pictures in South Los Angeles on Sunday, Fox 11 reported.

During the cease, new footage from the SkyFOX helicopter captured Medrano pulling out a handgun and opening fireplace on the officers.

The officers returned fireplace, hanging the suspect. Medrano was taken to a close-by hospital and pronounced lifeless.

A CHP officer reportedly suffered a graze wound in the course of the shootout.

The SUV Medrano was driving had the identical license plate of a car that was reportedly stolen by the suspect after Sunday’s taking pictures.

Medrano was being looked for allegedly taking pictures and killing 61-year-old Ruben Marrufo and wounding two different folks, the report mentioned.
