A Catholic Priest of the Archdiocese of Abuja, Reverend Father Oluoma Chinenye John has suggested males that, if their spouse slapped them, they need to go out and take a bottle of drink to settle down.
Reverend Father Oluoma Chinenye John said this throughout a sermon, as he suggested such males to go away the home and calm themselves down with a bottle of Hero if the “blessed sacrament” is just not shut by.
In his phrase, he mentioned:
“Your spouse slaps you. What do you do? A canal man, what’s going to a canal man do? The slap is not going to even attain the person’s face, he’ll stop the hand there and break all of the 4 fingers first, and beat the dwelling daylight out of the lady.
“A spiritually matured progressive spouse can’t slap the husband. But if you’re a man and you might be unlucky and your spouse slaps you, measured response. Oga, don’t do something. Carry your material, go out of the home.
“If the blessed sacrament is far from you, do one Our Father, three Haile Maries, go and take one bottle of Hero. When you take one bottle of Hero, you calm down, you hear? Measured response. You begin to consult with the Holy Spirit, what do I do? You will get a response.”
