EXCLUSIVE: Top GOP officers within the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Tuesday demanded solutions from the Biden administration on info regarding the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Documents first obtained by Fox News present that Ranking Member Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, led a bunch of Republicans in submitting a Resolution of Inquiry (ROI) that calls on the White House and State Department to offer all communication, intelligence assessments and paperwork on ending the War in Afghanistan. 

The ROI grants the administration 14 days to return the 8-page request for info.


If the administration doesn’t provide the data, the ROI would historically head to the House flooring to develop into a “privileged resolution,” which might then pressure the chief department at hand over the requested info. 

But Republicans on the House Foreign Affairs Committee will not be more likely to get solutions from the administration by way of their request.
