New York Giants rookie Kadarius Toney was ejected from Sunday’s sport towards the Dallas Cowboys after punching Damontae Kazee behind the helmet however, in line with one report, it wasn’t the one heated alternate of the sport. 

Sources instructed the New York Daily News that Cowboys security Jayron Kearse punched Giants tight finish Evan Engram within the face throughout post-game handshakes, an incident that Engram seemingly confirmed to the outlet.

“I was pushing him around the whole game, so he was probably just mad about that,” he instructed the Daily News. “It’s whatever.”

Engram known as the hit a “little baby punch,” including he didn’t retaliate as a result of he didn’t need the league to come back after him. 

“There’s this thing the NFL does, they send out letters and they forcefully take money from you for acting up,” he mentioned. “So I don’t need any of that. It was a little baby punch anyway. It was soft. So I definitely want to keep my money in my pocket. I’m good.”

A league spokesperson instructed the Daily News there was no video that confirmed the altercation happening.

Toney provided an apology on Twitter Monday for his actions towards Kazee.

“Wanna take the time out to apologize to the entire organization, Owners, My Teammates and the entire #BigBlue,” he tweeted. “your emotions just can get the best of you sometimes…..No Excuses just actions.”
