Meet some European leaders

The leaders of the Group of Seven major industrialized countries, Friday, began their three-day summit in Cornwall, Britain, with climate priorities, confronting the epidemic, and equitable distribution of vaccines on its agenda.

The assembled presidents intend to affirm their unity in the face of global crises and focus on distributing one billion doses of vaccine against COVID-19.

At the opening of the summit, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged leaders to “build back better”.

He said it is necessary to learn from the mistakes of the 2008 economic crisis, and to heal the wounds of the past.
