A soldier stationed at Fort Bragg was killed and 4 different troopers had been injured in a Monday afternoon accident involving a navy automobile.

The accident occurred round 12:50 p.m. on Butner Road close to Wilson Park, Fort Bragg and the XVIII Airborne Corps mentioned in a press release.

“This was a tough day here on Fort Bragg,” Col Joe Buccino, a Fort Bragg spokesman, mentioned in a press launch despatched to Fox News. “It was a tough day for all of us. Our immediate thoughts right now are on the family, the men and women of the 16th Military Police Brigade, and the inured Soldiers.

“Anytime you lose a Soldier on-post in a scenario exterior of fight, it hurts. It’s a tragic loss. There will probably be a time for investigating the trigger and nature of this accident, however proper now we’re focusing our consideration on the troops and Families.” 

The names of these concerned are being withheld pending notification of subsequent of kin. No additional particulars had been launched.
