A report from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz launched Thursday particulars “widespread” shortcomings in how the FBI applies for surveillance warrants.

The report lists 10 suggestions for the FBI and the Justice Department’s National Security Division to make sure compliance.  

In a press release to Fox News, the FBI mentioned it totally accepts the Inspector General’s suggestions and has cooperated with the OIG’s evaluate of its Woods Procedures.
