Billie Eilish slams Texas abortion legal guidelines: ‘My body, my f–king choice’

Billie Eilish is trashing Texas lawmakers she sees because the unhealthy guys.

The “Happier Than Ever” singer slammed Texas’ abortion legal guidelines throughout a live performance in Austin on Saturday, saying she was “sick and tired of old men” who she mentioned had been accountable for restrictive laws that took impact final month.

Performing on the Austin City Limits Music Festival, the 19-year-old “Bad Guy” singer referred to as the laws — which went into impact Sept. 1 and bans most abortions — a “s–t” regulation and raised her center finger earlier than declaring, “My body, my f–king choice,” Eilish can be seen telling the cheering viewers in a clip posted to Twitter on Saturday.

“When they made that s–t a law, I almost didn’t want to do the show. so, because I wanted to punish this f–king place for allowing that to happen here,” “Bad Guy” singer Eilish mentioned. “But then I remembered that it’s you guys that are the f–king victims, and you deserve everything in the world. And we need to tell them to shut the f–k up!”

Eilish made the declarations onstage in entrance of a video display screen with photographs calling for “bans off our bodies.”

Eilish beforehand sounded off towards restrictive abortion legal guidelines final month in an Instagram Stories submit.

“Makes me sick how many men say nothing when it comes to women’s rights,” she wrote, according to the Independent, which mentioned the rant included a picture that learn: “If you and your ‘homies’ or bros’ aren’t talking about the abortion laws in Texas, chances are you’re part of a problem.”

The new Texas regulation — which prohibits ladies from getting an abortion after a fetal heartbeat will be detected and lets residents sue medical doctors who assist terminate pregnancies — was been slapped with a lawsuit by the Biden administration on Friday. Last month, a Texas physician, Alan Baird, was the primary abortion supplier who was sued for allegedly violating the brand new regulation.
