Aspiring actress killed in Georgia when neighbor by accident fires gun


An aspiring actress died in Georgia when she was struck by a bullet that her neighbor by accident fired via the wall of their condominium constructing, authorities say.

Carlether Foley, 36, who has movie credit in a number of impartial productions, was asleep when the bullet entered her condominium in Duluth on Sept. 26 and struck her within the head, KTRK-TV reported.

Foley’s son, Keyandre, 17, discovered his mother unresponsive and contacted 911, the outlet stated.

Officers found a bullet gap in Foley’s wall and spoke to her 22-year-old neighbor, Maxwell Williamson, who informed them that he was cleansing his gun when it by accident discharged, authorities stated. He claimed that he had forgotten it was loaded.

Williamson was taken into custody on prices of involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct, the outlet reported.

Foley’s son stated his mom labored arduous to supply for him.

“It don’t feel real. I found my mama by myself,” Keyandre informed the outlet. “I just don’t get it. I don’t understand. She don’t bother nobody. My mama didn’t do nothing.”

The teen is staying with Foley’s mom, who stated she’s heartbroken over the loss.

“I’ve never experienced the hurt, the pain that I’m feeling. I don’t know what to do,” Foley’s mom, Jacquline, informed the outlet.

She slammed Williamson for allegedly taking her daughter’s life.

“You had no right to take my baby from me. You had no business taking her life away from her child. He’s 17 years old. This is his last year in school. You have hurt my family. You have took my baby,” she stated.
