Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing former Liverpool star Georginio Wijnaldum from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window, according to 90min.

90min have reported that Arsenal have asked to be kept informed regarding any move for Wijnaldum.

In December, PSG reportedly offered a number of Premier League clubs the chance to sign the Netherlands international midfielder on loan in the January transfer window.

Arsenal are open to the idea of bringing the 31-year-old midfielder – described as “wonderful” by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on Sky Sports in May 2021 – to the Emirates Stadium on a loan deal this month and have asked to be kept informed about any progress in the situation of the Dutchman.
