A nail-biting preview of This Is Us season 6 episode 3


The final season of This Is Us landed on NBC on the 4th January 2022 and two instalments have already aired and are available for streaming. Ahead of Tuesday night’s chapter, a preview of episode 3 has been released.

The episode, entitled ‘Four Fathers’, will follow Jack, Randall, Kevin and Toby as they try to navigate the challenges of fatherhood and connect with their kids. Judging from the promo, fans will be in for a nail-biting instalment of this heartwarming family drama.

What to expect from episode 3

The promo begins with Rebecca (Mandy Moore) discussing with Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) how much fun him and their three kids will have at the cinema. Events quickly go downhill, as fans see a young Kevin wonder off at the movies. With Jack desperately trying to find is son, audiences will have to wait until the episode to find out where little Kevin has disappeared to.

Next, we see Kevin and Madison in the present day. Kevin watches on his phone as one of his twins takes their first steps. Upset over missing this milestone, an argument with Madison ensues. As Madison tries to reassure Kevin: “There will be a million milestones. Not gonna be there for every one of them”, Kevin hits back, “you mean I’m not gonna be there for every one of them”. If this clip is anything to go by, episode 3 won’t be smooth sailing for Kevin and Madison.

Finally, fans are shown Randall and Deja in the car together. Deja’s lies from last week begin to unravel as the car reads out a text from Malik saying, “can’t sleep, the bed feels too big without you”. The atmosphere becomes frosty between the two, as Randall realises Deja lied about sleeping at a friends house in last weeks episode.

Where to watch This Is Us

This Is Us season 6 episode 3 will be available for American fans on NBC, Tuesday 18th at 9/8c. The episodes are also available to stream on the NBC website.

For fans outside of the US, you can watch This Is Us on Disney+ and Prime Video. The final season premiered on both platforms on the 6th January 2022, with subsequent episodes being released to the platforms on Thursdays.

One fan praising Mandy Moore’s performance posted: “Can we, again, talk about how incredible was Mandy Moore in these scenes? Chills.”

Another wrote: “That dinner scene on @NBCThisisUS was the absolute best writing I have ever experienced. “Because worrying about the big things leaves me no room to worry about the small things!” The build-up in dialogue = perfection”
